Unrelated, I just discovered "the princess portal" and "The Lost Princess" sites. They are very cute. :)

I haven't been participating in any of the egl comms for a long time, but I'm not planning on quitting lolita or anything. I just need time and my own space, haha. I don't want to feel imposing (and that really poofy petticoat makes me feel a bit imposing physically, hehe.)

Plus, I really don't have any money at the moment. I'm not expecting the appeals to make it through. Apparently, some committee starts looking through appeals starting December 15. If they accept my appeal after the semester ends, then I don't get money anyway, and it ends on the week of December 22. Yeah.

I've been having lots of fun with my sister, brother-in-law, and my niece. ^^



I've never shown pictures of her here, hehe. These are from these past 2 months. Isn't she sooo cute??? That incredibly tiny nose, and the impossibly big, fluffy, yet firm cheeks. I like to squish her, huhu. ^^ The picture on the left has her in her Awana "Cubbies" vest. Awana is sort of like Pathfinders. She's so silly, sometimes a spazz, and lately a bit spoiled (from when she got sick). :D

My boyfriend has an interview tomorrow at a compounding pharmacy. I hope he gets the job... It would really be one huge stress out of the way if he can get a job before like... Thanksgiving or something.

Pff, the music I'm listening to changed now that I started typing, hehe. Oh well.

Let's see.. The last time I wrote about something weight related was on the 11th of August. It's high time for an update, hehe. Oh, now it's the 8th of November. Kind of cool, hehe. Anyway, according to my excel spreadsheet:
Time passed: 13 weeks, minus 2 days
10 pounds lost
2 and 1/4" lost from my bust
3" lost from the biggest part of my waist
2 and 1/2" lost from my hips
More inches are lost from other parts. Yay for cardio! ALSO, something I'm VERY excited about, is that I finally, FINALLY unlocked the last stage of My Fitness Coach on the Wii. Hooray! This was about two days ago, hehe. :D

Anyway, ending on a random note: I hope I can meet more lolitas, hehe. Someday. When I can dress up in something different. The world has seen the entirely of my wardrobe. xP Non-lolita event is also cool by me. It sometimes gets boring to be home all day, even with a cute niece and yummy homemade food, haha.

I'm tired, tired, tired... I even slept early and woke up late today, but... yeah.

I have two midterms next week. They're for the same class, one's for lecture, and one's for lab.

My sister's decided to take up Farmville, so I've done the same. It's not addicting, but.... um... family bonding time? Hahaha.

Okay, to be serious, I'm just mad that the lab doesn't provide gloves. Seriously?? I don't care how careful we're *supposed* to be, they should be on the cautious side! Geez. So yes. I'm not pleased right now, but oh well. I don't think I have enough of it to actually be seriously affected. I just wanted to be dramatic, though death isn't something to joke about.. And not that I would sue the school if something happened to me, it was definitely my fault, but it's not like I want a carcinogen to absorb into my bloodstream. D:

I went to the library yesterday. I came back with a book I couldn't finish, and the Bridge to Terabithia book.

I hope I'm not the only person who gets affected by media, haha. Whenever I read a book, I get really into it and I keep thinking about it for days afterward. The same is true for dramas, cartoons, movies... Music too.

My sister and brother-in-law are sick... I don't know what it is, I'm assuming it's a cold. I hope my niece doesn't get sick too. :( Or me. I'd have to infect everybody in class, because there's NO WAY I'm going to miss any classes. D: Sorry, guys! I'm going to have to be selfish if it happens.

Whoops, it's been a while again, hehe. I just started my first day yesterday... Ugh, semester system. I don't know if I can handle 16 weeks of the same classssssssssssssss.... ;_; Although, from what the professor said, apparently the school used to be under an 18 week dealie... :o I think I would die. I don't know how I survived semesters before college. I don't even want to think about it.

I worry about my friends sometimes. As of now, we're considering having an intervention, technically, for one of our friends, who dragged most of the rest of us into a potentially bad situation with her parents because of her and her boyfriend. And... I guess it's sometimes annoying having to be the messenger. But yeah. She's so cute, but so clueless... I hope we can pull this off.... :I

I went to the library last week and went through their not-so-extensive teen section (relatively new library, I think, and they're more geared for children, it seems). Yes, the teen section. I have never read an adult-aged novel, and I probably never will. Maybe that's why I feel I have never grown up. xD Anyway, yeah, so I found a Tamora Pierce book (Trickster's Choice), so that made my day. :D I think I read almost all her books now.. I hope I can find the sequel. I also borrowed the first volume of tactics, and the first two of Millenium Snow. They were all right. I'll probably read more of them if I happen to come across them, but I don't think I'll go out of my way for them. I also found a Philip Pullman book, and a book by someone named Susan Beth Pfeffer, but I haven't read either of those yet.

On the topic of reading... I've been catching up on the Glass Mask manga and anime... <3 <3 <3. I find it so fascinating. It's such a great series. I've only caught up to the scanlations though, so maybe I'll feel that it's too drawn out too, by the time I get to the end, lol. It seems some people feel this way. We'll see. It always makes my day though. :3 I'm going to try to get my boyfriend to read it, haha. He's been getting into shoujo manga lately. xD

I'm going to the Pizza Hut buffet in Irvine today with my boyfriend. Yay! I heard a lot of bad things from Yelp, among those was one that said they had no food at 12, even though they open at 11... disturbing... Haha, but yeah, we're going to check it out anyway. xD The one in Costa Mesa doesn't seem to have a review... not one I can see anyway... a good sign? lol. Anyway, I try not to care too much about what Yelpers say, because I find that I like more foods than they do. I think my sister refers to people like them as... "bougie-assed" xD. She's so silly. I don't think I could say that out loud, but that's pretty much how I feel, without all the hate heh. I don't even say "ass" out loud. Shyness + school => Me saying "anus" only during class. Anyway, the point is that I don't always agree with them. xP

I'm also going to print out ATC cards today. I hope they turn out okay, by which I mean having normal colors and being the right size. I suppose I can always chop it to become the right size, but I'd rather not have to bother measuring.

What the heck? How'd 45 minutes pass by so quickly? I woke up at 3:30am this morning because I slept without the blankets. The coldness wakes me up because I need to wake up early today... It's another errand day for me. I'm glad I don't have any classes today, hehe. I'm not looking forward to lab on Wednesday.

Long time no see, LJ! :D I've been busy and stuff... well, not really. I did keep busy, but with non-important things. Today, though, my sister, my dad, and I visited the cemetery for our annual cleaning spree of our sister and grandma's graves. We decided that bringing bleach is imperative for future trips though xP. But anyway, they're all clean now, so yay! On our grandma's grave, the gardeners mowed the grass already, but they didn't do it for my sister's grass area, so... we'll see. My mom couldn't make it out this year, and she was really sad about that (because she wouldn't be able to clean... haha), but they're going out to Rose Hills anyway since they're attending someone's funeral, so my dad's going to take her to show her our handiwork. Hopefully my sister's won't be full of grass and missing the flowers, heh.

I start school on the 31st this month. Hopefully the sewing lab doesn't conflict with my physiology class...... :) So by then, I'm hoping to finish 2 more ATC cards, since I will probably not go online as much. Oh yeah, that reminds me... I'm going to send your letter out tomorrow, avinastar! Actually, it's more like, I'm going to write your letter, then send it out... ^^; Also, I will see you tomorrow, coppeliad! :D :D I can't wait to eat soup, haha.

Anyway, the point was to show a fun forward I got from my sister, hehe. I just did copy and paste so I didn't really change anything. I think it's probably a collection of things random people said. I can't imagine someone funny enough to say all of these. Just kidding~ xD Some I totally agree with, some not so much, but they're still fun and/or interesting. :P

Sorry! Please don't take my apology as sarcasm, I am definitely not meaning it in that way. And I guess I should apologize for having the friends that I do - if not for them, maybe I would be more socially and culturally aware (and they would have most likely agreed with what I said... so yeah, some of my friends are really dumb too). I suppose I can't be putting blame on other people though... so sorry again. :( I honestly didn't realize how much harm I could be doing to your feelings, so if I ever make another comment, I'll be sure to think about sensitive (not in a bad way) people, such as you. My last test for nutrition is tomorrow, so of course, I have to procrastinate a little and post here, haha.

I signed up for classes yesterday, and I'm going to take intro to sewing (yay!! because I fail at learning on my own haha) and I got into Human Physiology!! Yay! It required only three hours of waiting in various lines, but I did it. xD I also emailed the sewing teacher to make sure it's okay for me to take the class, because I'm paranoid that way, haha..... So yeah. I'm excited. :3 Also, I better OWN that Physiology class since I already took a class with physiology last year... I doubt I will though. I'll try to threaten myself anyway. *shakes fist*

As for weight... I lost 1 pound this week, so I'm satisfied. :) As for measurements, my chest went down, but my waist and hips went up. Gah. So mini fail + mini success = I guess everything's okay? xD At least none of the measurements are drastic, hehe.

I ended up going to the OC Fair with my boyfriend on Sunday. It was very fun. :) He bought me two cheap rose rings because I wanted them. x3 I might have to re-glue one of them though because it's crooked. I have to wait for the glue to somehow wear out though, because it's pretty stuck in there. xP

I'm having trouble in the DS Trauma Center. I'm too slow haha.

D: I hope they let me register for it anyway, since I already took a class called Human Anatomy and Physiology... Sigh, I wish it counted for both classes......;;

I got the bunny bag the other day from buycostumes.com. I know that theosakakoneko reviewed it a few days before... I got that same one. I think it's (sort of) amusing that the picture on the tag and on the website is different than the actual product. But yeah, it's kind of cute still. I do love my bunnies and Alice in Wonderland sh-tuff...

I've been playing Lunia lately... I probably mentioned this before, but I'm a Dacy. She's a cute little puppeteer girl. *^^* I almost level 30 now. Yay! I don't like to get power leveled, so my boyfriend is grudgingly allowing me to slowly try to destroy all the monsters... Except when I'm dying. Then he'll help me out, hehe. I don't mind that so much though.

My sister and brother-in-law bought me Rhythm Heaven for the DS. Now I can delete it off my R4 and get something else. xD;;

I finished two ATC drawings. I have a few more ideas, but I don't know if I'll be able to do them all by the deadline, hehe. I hope this isn't my first and last one though, since school starts on the 31st...

There's a really cute picture book, drawn by POP, of Thumbelina. The drawings are soooo cute. :D I want her dress. I'm going to draw fanart hehe. Maybe I'll put it in the ATC... Depends on what I draw I suppose.

Speaking of which... I just discovered Paint Tool SAI. :o I feel really slow about that, but still excited. The lines are so... so smooth! Maybe I just used all the wrong tools in Photoshop, but it always looks pixel-y. So yeah, I'm going to try SAI on my next drawing. :3 I hope it turns out well, hehe.

Haha, so I went to Jack in the Box with my sister and family. I think my brother-in-law's tried it before, but my sister (and niece) have never in their whole lives. So we went there for the free tacos deal. My sister was very disappointed and my brother-in-law was saying that it's obvious that it's not good. We decided it's probably that they eat bland foods, so they don't like the overly salty/sweet/etc. So I got a smoothie half off, on accident. I was supposed to get a milk shake, so yeah...;; SO, what ended up happening is my brother-in-law mixed it with ice cream, soy milk, and some more ice to make an actual milk shake. He also added some alcohol to theirs... So yeah. My sister is SO red. Fun. xD And just in case anyone wants to know, I like Jack in the Box. Well, I order the same things all the time, so maybe it's only the stuff I order, that I like. I don't know. I'll probably try ordering new things next time I drop by, just to see. xD I'll probably like it though. I like salty as well as bland, haha. Mmm.. Unhealthy fast food. :9
